Independent Living
The Forum at Memorial Woods offers luxury high-rise retirement living. From its dramatic architecture to its lovely living room and community areas, The Forum exudes warmth and elegance. Residents are proud to have family and friends visit, and often invite guests to dine or enjoy evening entertainment. The Forum at Memorial woods offers a wonderful senior lifestyle – with new friends to meet, first-class dining, and a full calendar of stimulating social and cultural activities.
The Forum is a rental retirement community. Monthly fees for independent living residents include daily breakfast and choice of lunch or dinner in our gracious Post Oak dining room. Apartments feature gracious living/dining rooms, large bedrooms, generous closets, kitchens, and options such as balconies, dens, and additional storage areas. Additionally, wonderful activities, amenities and services are included such as cable television, weekly housekeeping, an indoor parking garage, 24 hour valet parking, emergency medical alert, use of all community areas and all utilities included (except telephone).
Rental fees vary based on apartment floor plan and square footage. There is a one-time community fee that covers maintenance for all grounds and common areas – and is paid only once no matter how long a resident lives at The Forum.
Assisted Living
What makes assisted living at The Forum at Memorial Woods especially appealing is its emphasis on residents’ wellness instead of their frailties. Our professional staff’s orientation and training is designed to foster independence and quality of life.
The gracious and varied community areas provide a comfortable environment for the residents and their families to enjoy. All apartments are private and there are many floor plans to choose from. Each apartment suite features large windows, blinds, wood floors or carpet, and a private bathroom. Residents furnish their own apartments, or we can arrange for furnishings at additional cost. The beautiful dining room provides residents with three nutritious meals daily and is served restaurant style and offers many choices. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
Again emphasizing wellness, dignity, security, and comfort, with an individualized care plan for each resident. In this way we are able to provide as much or as little assistance as each resident needs to maintain his or her independences and quality of life. Prices in assisted living are determined by the floor plan chosen, and level of care. We understand that needs change and the Forum strives to be as flexible to meet those needs. A nursing assessment, background check, recent TB test and doctor's paperwork are required before move in to Assisted Living.

Skilled Nursing Care & Rehabilitative Services
Large doses of kindness, care, empathy and concern are among the most important aspects of our Nursing and Rehabilitative Services program. Our attention to details, large and small, ensures that our residents enjoy the best quality of life possible and families have the reassurance of knowing they’ve made the right decision.
One of the hallmarks of our Nursing Center is its warm, residential quality. Common areas are cozy and tastefully decorated and our private and semi-private rooms are bright, fresh and cheery. All the special touches have been designed for each of our resident’s comfort and security as well as each of our families’ peace of mind.
Both long term healthcare and skilled nursing services are available at The Forum at Memorial Woods. Our highly trained in-house rehabilitation department specializes in the particular needs and intricacies of senior café. Our activity director provides social and special events programs for our healthcare residents. Our social services and care team assist families in planning for the long-range needs of their family member.
You’re invited to come visit and see for yourself. Meet our team of professionals, who care for and care about our residents. They are an impressive group, who along with excellent care, administer large amounts of smiles and hugs.
You’ll find our daily fees fairly priced, and their value can be measured in the many benefits – tangible and intangible – you or your loved one will experience at The Forum at Memorial Woods.  Our Health Care Center accepts private payment and Medicare.

Alzheimer’s & Memory Support Neighborhood

Our memory support neighborhood at The Forum at Memorial Woods offers a warm, homelike setting which is thoughtfully designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia and related memory disorders. Our award-winning Alzheimer’s care program, called Bridge to Rediscovery, helps our residents rediscover the joy in everyday life. It also gives families a way to communicate and connect when they visit.

Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia.  It accounts for 60 to 80 percent of all dementia cases.  Alzheimer's is NOT a normal part of aging, it is a progressive disease where symptoms will gradually worsen over time.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia, you are not alone.  Our Bridge to Rediscovery program has been designed to meet the needs of families dealing with this disease.

Consistent sights, sounds, smells and objects increase comfort and decrease anxiety.  Residents have the freedom to interact with others or have privacy.  Our team's communication with residents soothes and helps redirect their focus to positive memories and activities.  We care, and it shows.

We offer lovely private and semi-private suites for our Alzheimer's Care residents, with large windows and a spacious private bathroom and shower. Our tastefully decorated common spaces have been designed to be both welcoming and familiar. They include cues to assist residents with orientation and comfortable environments for activities and family gatherings.
